The curtains don't close so you get no real privacy.
The pool is only 4ft deep and the exercise room has three treadmills and a few dumbbells.
So the staff is friendly and the pillows are comfortable but that's about it.
I visit a lot of hotels, and this is one I certainly will not be revisiting.
Reasonable hotel. Breakfast is normal, eggs some meats, fruit. Coffee is decent. Beds are pretty comfortable. Clean. Access to highway is good. Was not greeted as platinum member or offered an upgrade. Even if no upgrade is available I expect it to be mentioned.
We enjoyed our stay here at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The host was accommodating to our needs. Our room had two double beds. The complimentary breakfast was slightly different each morning, with a helpful attendant on hand. We would definitely stay here again.
The Air conditioner/Heater barely worked.
We stayed at this hotel while in town to see a Pediatric Neurologist who is a specialist for a rare disorder our son has. From the moment I called and spoke with J (GM) I was impressed. The hotel was clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff was compassionate and kind. The free continental breakfast was so delicious and wonderful and the breakfast assistant T saw me struggling with my 3 and 7 year old and step dad with Alzheimers and offered to help us get set up to eat, fetched my step dad and I coffee etc. Her kindness was so wonderful and touched my heart. Same with J (GM) who gave us reason to stay there every single time we are in town for our medical visits. The room cleaning staff was exceptional and the woman I interacted with a few times went above and beyond her job to make us comfortable- language barriers and all- she is a valuable piece of that hotel and deserves recognition. Because of the customer service we won't stay anywhere else. The pool was perfect and clean, great temperature- sweet changing lights for the kids and fresh towels... only sadness is that they no longer have the hot tub (man would that have been nice!). There is also a little restaurant called the Mason Jar that shares the parking lot and is absolutely adorable and delicious. We will stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites every time we come into town. A+ in our book.
You can hear almost everything outside your door and upstairs which makes it very difficult to sleep.
Room was very clean, comfortable, & inviting. Staff was most helpful and friendly to our group and to us individually as well. At the common area we were warmed by the fireplace where our group of 12 gathered together to chat and for a little music with plenty of space before turning in for the night. Morning breakfast was fresh & varied. In view of the rural region, it was surprisingly very close to our planned destination at World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Tuxedo Park. Traveling out to New York from the Boston area was a tiring ride for my wife and me, being seniors as we are, but arriving at a good hotel allowed us to get the much needed rest before our tour on Monday. At our age (70ish) we don't travel that far and much any more, but this trip was pleasant and staying at Fairfield Inn made things easier for us. ..................Thanks very much from Frank and Sue from Lynn, Ma.
