Though my time as a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey came to an end in December of 2009, I often find myself reflecting on the solid education and overall experience I had. Ramapo College, located in Mahwah, NJ, offers breathtaking views and gives off a pleasant community atmosphere. I can recall sitting in finance class in autumn, looking out at the changing colors of the trees. It was a surreal view that accompanied instruction and education.

If you are looking for a college with a homey feel, top-notch facilities, and most importantly, a great educational experience, then this is the college to attend.

Terrible School. Don’t waste your time and money on this place. Just read other reviews from dissatisfied students.

RCNJ has the distinct advantage of being a liberal arts school. What does this mean? Well, classroom sizes max out at around 35 students. This gives a more personable opportunity for learning and promotes a closer relationship with the professors. I valued this and gained a lot more interaction in the classroom setting as opposed to being “lost in the sauce” at a lecture hall that holds 300 students at a typical university school. Ramapo College has many bright years ahead of itself, continuing to usher in technological innovation, a focus on sustainability and most importantly a caring for the welfare of its students.

If you're considering this school for Computer Science because of it's cost, you are getting what you pay for. Everything at this school feels like a fight, since they make it clear they are not there to help you, and that they are doing it for money with all the changes they have made and the actions they take to "better" their students.

Voice Performance & Psychology Major (mid 1980s)

The redeeming factor here is the fact that the school has nice dorms compared to other schools in the state. The school also takes it's safety very seriously. The attitude of the professors I've had have mostly been negative. There are a handful of professors that actually care about your success and well being, but the rest are just cogs in the machine. Try to look into what professors you're taking, and get into a group with a few friends to help with classes and any other issues that may arise when attending classes.

I had a dream come true and the collage finally and forevermore have a song they call their own!

“I lived there for years" and in 1986 a college Alma Mater was written for my voice, by alumnus Michael Alasá and by my dear friend the late Dr. David Welch. To praēeminēre the college Alma Mater for the inauguration of the college's second president, Dr. Scott and to exposēre this, the same year at commencement were moments of great personal pride and proud moments for the college.

I’ve had the good fortune of not only living on campus, but earning a BS in Marketing from Anisfield School of Business. With a modern feel and an elegant look, the school is aesthetically pleasing. Most recently, Anisfield School of Business received AACSB (The Association of Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for its business program, an achievement that only 6% of schools with undergraduate programs achieve. While studying at RCNJ, much was taught to me by the friendly, well-qualified professors of the business school. More specifically, the core marketing classes that I completed have equipped my mind to think of business in a different light and have been a great, positive influence.

Horrible school in the middle of no where. It’s ruled by power hungry college dropouts calling themselves public safety. Empty on weekends and no social life

In time, when adopted and given recognition, as the official “Ramapo College Alma Mater"
